Maranta Leuconeura or Prayer plant gets its common name from how their leaves fold up like praying hands at night. She is quite friendly with both pets and humans and will enjoy a greenhouse like environment - high humidity and good airflow.

  • Light - Medium to bright indirect light
  • Water - Let the top two inches dry between watering / Filtered or distilled water is recommended
  • Humidity - Ideally 60% and above but will do just fine in normal household humidity level as long as it doesn't go below 30%
  • Temperature - Between 60ºF – 80ºF 
  • Toxicity - This plant is not toxic to pets

This is the ONLY paper that works well with SP-1
Style: 100ct
This is the only paper that works well with the Brother SP-1 sublimation printer. The instructions on using the paper are a little weird, but as long as the cut corner remains in the lower right of the printer tray, you'll be okay. I can't say that there's a lot of consistency in printing with this paper. Sometimes photos I've printed for items look really great, other times the photos are quite muted. This is a CMYK printer, which means you won't see the vibrant colors you see on your computer monitor. Often a red-boost in saturation in PS will help with some of that problem. The other issue is there's no real color management profile defined if you're printing directly from Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Even if you use matching CMYK colors in your artwork, don't expect those colors to work in sublimation. For simple artwork, with few color gradations, this seems to work pretty well. So, if you have an SP-1, this is the only paper you should use.
